My little german knight on a horsie drawn from a picture reference. Started drawing it and had no room for the top half of the knight but oh well. Crits definitely welcome, but be nice to this art newbie =).
It was a little rushed.

your reading drawing on the right side of the brain i assume? i remember seeing that in the book
its kind of hard to critique an "incomplete" drawing though, i can say that you need to practice hands and forshortening, and the feet could use some work. It also looks like you rushed through the drawing, remember its not a race |

That's a good start Fusion,
some of the horses proportions seem a little off though (eg. his head look s a bit small)
If you are interested in drawing horses, you might find this link useful:

I do have the book, though I actually had this drawing from a different place altogether. I had a bigger version of it =).

Hmm... welp. First thing I noticed is you're trying to fit the entire horse, on a smaller piece of paper then the horse will fit on, thus the forshortening problems (from head to rear) and the particularly small size of the head. You were trying to not go off the page so you shrunk it. common problem. So here's a solution. Get some bigger paper, but draw at the same size that you are drawing now, that will keep you from going off the page (or feeling the need to fit it all into one page forcing yourself to shrink things )

Hello, all.
It's been a while since I've come to the forum, right so anyway....
Here's my version of the pic that I did a while back.
