This is my first post, so be mean. Realized I haven't sat down and drawn something in a long time, been mostly doing web design for cheesy corporate places. Anyway, rip it apart, perspective, color, all that. Oh yeah, this was all done with a mouse, haven't gotten the wacom yet.

Perspective mainly. I'm not sure if it looks like the eye is at ground level and looking up and underneath everything.

is this just practice? or is it gonna be worked into a finished product??

Its mostly practice for me to get to know painter better, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop half-way through. If you're referring to the sketchy look of it, thats pretty much how I start out anything, probably should have started lighter. I also don't have a tablet, so its a little less refined that I think I could do. Using a mouse sucks.

Your work has a really nice aesthetic; it doesn't present itself as a realistic interpretation, but you shouldn't go for that. Props on what you've got!

thanks. Unfortunately, this is how almost everything I do looks, half finished with lots of sketchy lines. Can't seem to settle on a style of refining it when thats what I really want to do.
