The trick for the waterline is not just having it as a straight line. (which is current problem right now) Add curves to follow the waves instaed of having a straight line. Taht should improve the look of the waterline. Also The waves could use a little bolder variation in color. |

Also remember that the waterline would have some thickness, where the water clings to the lens and forms a little meninscus. It looks weird to just jave a straight line. |

Nice start.
Keep in mind that the rays of light in the water is caused by the waves when you do that wavy waterline. Good luck. |

Eorand: that's a VERY neat image! The crits above hold true, but I guess you shouldn't go into overkill with the lightrays underwater.
I would personally whiten the water splashes on the reef, and the water color should be a little more the hue and intensity as the sky, and the water at the horizon should fade with the sky... a very slight degradation from fron to back would help define depth.
The sky is usually darker higher up than on the horizon, so you could lighten + desaturate a little there.
Good work. |

Many thanks to all of you! I got more comments than I expected
EvilToyLet: You are right. I was trying to do a fading effect and it just looked silly. I will try to make the line more curved and following the pattern of the waves.
Ben Barker: Yeah I tried to make it thinker but didn't get it right... but I will keep it going
SporQ: Thanks
Kjetil Nystuen: I will add more detail to them. Maybe I add sharper rays to half meter and after that they start to diffuse and blend together? But I'm afraid it will make this pic look too
Frost: Now that I look the spashes they look unnatural. Blue? *shivers* I should make them whiter as you said. Sky needs color variations, thats common problem to my images.
After I get these fixed I will post new version. But I don't know when I will have the time.... *sigh* I sure wish I were a kid again. Back then there seemed to be time for everything that was fun...
