Hi, I just started a project in which I am drawing the inside of a archatectual space. I want to use 2 point perspective. I am working fairly large say about 1 1/2 in. by 3/4 in. Now the problem is that to pick the points that I want to give me the angles I have to go like 4 feet away, and you can guess how difficult that can be (working traditionally here). So does anyone have some suggestions? |

dude, if you press your back button you should read the name of a topic merely inches further down the list.
I seem to remember something about a haedler ruler. It has proportionate markings that aparently you can use the large rule on one side of the page and the small rule on the other. By doing this you make proportionate marks that can be used as a guide to convergence. There's some info sitting over at: merekatcreations check out the tutorials.
Hope that helps. |

Yes, but you could set up your perspective grid on your computer and then use any number of methods to transfer it to paper or canvas. |
