Just read that in your resume, what game did you create that time?
How involved have you been, what were your tasks?
How did you start the company?

That goes way back. The company was founded by Hannes, Nik & myself. Didn't want to get too involved so I just held 1% of the company - in case Nik and Hannes would ever not agree on something I could be the deciding part.
How involved was I? Well, here we go:
* I came up with the company name
* I was the main designer on Whale's Voyage I - big parts of the story & enviroment were designed by myself.
* Did package illustrations for WV1 & WV2 and Prototype
* I also started designing Prototype - but left for America before it was finished. M. Sormann did a great job in finishing the game. I'd say he did 3/4 of the gfx - or even more. Good man
My contributions were more spiritual than concrete. But I think I've left a little mark in the history of the company and have many fond memories of that time ...
The REAL founder is Hannes - he always wanted to form a company and totally succeeded - he's an excellent business man and has a good nose for opportunities. And in Nik he found a perfect, very competent partner.
I'm still in steady contact with them, especially Hannes, who's also a dear friend of mine.
So, there ya go. |
