yay! good to see you back here. I like the image, great drawing. Personally I think you lost some of its character between the drawing and the painting, but that really depends on my perception of it. I'm referring to the hair and fur in particular. I reckon the drawing looks awesome, the fur is 'skanky' and has some variation. When you painted it though the streaks are very uniform and fluffy, which sort of fleshes out from the bony / skinny, 'skanky' look you had in the drawing.

Good comment. this is from the section that is about painting fur, etc. I do think that I will go in and skanky his hair up a bit. This is only a portion of the image so I will try to stay true to the sketch. My main problem is that none of my sketches are really intended to be paintings so I really don't have a pre conceived idea where to take it.

Don't you just love the word "skanky". I love the word "quagmire" too.

I'll post a little skankier version soon.
