[Liser Studios]

hey
i've been lookin around at colleges, and my friend is transferring to maryland institute college of art. i'm just wondering if it's any good... on their site they said they've been named one of the top 4 schools in the nation.
It's fairly close (better than NY or CA), and that'd be cool to be there with someone I know.
So, what does everyone think of MICA?

i've also looked into Academy of Art College... but that's sooo far away :-\

i've heard some schools only care about your folio, some care only about grades, and most care about both equally. I hope mica or AAC (?) only care about your folio... my grades STINK!

so, yeah... just welcoming any input. hopefully it's not too late to apply :-\
