| Well I've finally started to make the migration to PhotoShop 6. One thing that irrates me is the text tool. I can have it set to 4pt font and that is about the size of 12pt font (image is at 72dpi so I don't know if that means anything). Doing some web work it is driving me insane as I have to guess the regular font size. Does anyone know what is going on and/or solutions? Thanks in advance? |

| I haven't ran into that yet, but I have only had PS 6 for about a week now, but I do have problems with my pen and PS 6. It messes up when you I use the pen to change like the swatch or brush with the pen button. I could do it in PS 5 but not 6. |

| yeah there seems to be some things that you can't do. Even simple things, I use to have a script that would fire up my scanner but do you think I can do that in version 6, of course not. It is just so irrating. |

| Honestly haven't used the type tool in ps6, the paintbrushes are still too much fun! Just opened it and played around with the text tool a bit, and I'm not seeing this font problem you're having. Sounds to me like you need to have 5 and 6 installed at the same time. Sorry, none too helpful here! I haven't had any problems with my tablet either except sometimes when I'm doing a lot of quick on/off brushing on one stroke it will forget that I have opacity set to the pen and it will make a full 100% (or whatever I have the level set to) opacity stroke which is followed by an immediate ctrl-z. Kind of annoying that, but I'm blaming it on the tablet drivers I guess. |

Create a Legend of sizes saved as a jpeg for visual comparison. Have it ipe in Photoshop when your working on stuff, have something like; 4pt = 12 pt and have it in actual size and take the time to create a visual reference tool for your self. I have had to do that for alot of things and its pretty handy. And do it at different DPIs.

| Update to 6.0.1 it might clear up those probs. I did'nt seem run into any since I've updated. |
