The Greater Hong Kong Fire Department is in need of a water-based response craft for canal patrol. The specifications of the design call for either a traditional ship hull-, water/ground effects-, or amphibious wheeled/tracked-based craft armed with a turret or pintel-mounted water/foam cannon, with crew capacity for two pilots, one 'gunner', and an eight man response squad.

Optional: The GHKFD also needs equipment for the response team. The specifications call for a fire-resistant coat and suit or articulated armor, helmet with face protection and optional gas mask, flame retardant chemical/foam gun, and fire axe/entry tool.
