Just wanted to say hi and because i just signed up 5minutes ago

and as well, i got a question about 3dsmax, not really a complex question, but here goes (hopefully my english is good enough for me to make thru..)

is it possible for artists to have a copyright onto the video as they render the .avi file (or .mpeg or .mpg or just simply any other format for that matter)....?? what do i mean?? well.. let me give u a brief example...

1. /me made a short short video to put in my portfolio page
2. /me put it online by uping the file onto the ftp
3. someone decides to make a fake gesture by copying the file and says that *HE did it!! (grr)

so is there anyway to avoid that from happening? something like a greyish font at the bottom right of the screen says MADE BY DROOMAGON or something else there so no one would claim tha fake right that they did it??

yeah, just make a .tga file with alpha channel of the shiz you want to have in that corner and render your animation in video post with an image filter of that copyright on top....
i had a tutorial on that on my hd, i upped it for you here
