I was just wondering one thing, now i guess you could get mad cuz i dont have a pic in this topic and it could goto the other digital art forum but this is my question , is this part of the forum for pics that are done ? i mean is this kind of like the ones that are done and have been crited and all ? cuz what i see is some people posting images that are done but then people tell them, ohh this should be like that and what not. So the topic should have been in the work in progrss. Im just not sure on it , I mean i posted in the work in progress forum cuz the images were done to me but i wanted feed back , well i didnt get too much feed back on it , but then people who are posting stuff here that they think is done are getting more feed back then the people who are posting in the work in progress section . My feelings on this topic and these are just my feelings , is that this section should be for pics that are done ,, you know , like say you went through the work in progrss part got feed back and all. So when you post in the gallery section you should get stuff like i like the pic , or what the hell is that.

I say this because if everyone just starts posting in this section and not the others well its just going to be like the old forum, people will post everything in this section and not the others.

Ohh well just my opinion and stuff ,, ill shut up now

proximo: In the Real World (tm) I think that it's more usual that you crit a finished painting than one in progress - why would it be different here? The feedback you get in the Finished Work forum can be used to improve the pic you thought were finished or more importantly - to learn for future works. That's just my two cents..

I am not saying that finish works can not be crited but what i am saying is this, finished work means its done .. doesnt it ? Im not sure what Sijun forsaw for the forum when he made the split. Did he want this one to be like a place were people post there finied works, in the sence that they are not going to change it and stuff . Or did he mean for it to be for work that is done to the person and feed back on it would be cool .. I dont know .. and really i dont care too much , i mean its not a big deal. Just a thought ..

You point out in your opening line that this is in the wrong forum but you still post it here? Silly.

Here's how interpret 'Gallery/Finished';

- Images that you have gone as far as you can go on, and that you aren't specifically looking for guidance or ideas to continue.

You can still get critiqued, and can still post updates (although as Dhabih says in the intro, the updates should go in the original threads, not new threads).

If you're looking for help, ideas, guidance, or if you have some sketches you want to show, then they all go in WIP.
