Does anyone know of any good sites or books that have good tutorials or text on how to learn to draw Concept art style, like with the shading markers and whatnot?
Thanx

hehe, anyone feels like sharing ? how about scanning Kronovecta and putting it on some web site, so maniacs like me could take a look ? The book is out of print/stock everywhere anyway. Syd's a naughty man, he deserves it.

I am not to sure there is a certon style for concept art. It is more or less drawing and designing a character or enviroment. You can draw it in what ever style you think gets your idea across. It is mostly sketching and such. Sometimes you will do a finished pic. Stick with the style you like. It is sometimes the style of the concept artist that makes them so good and unique.
Good books I have are...
Art Of Star Wars Ep.1
The art of Final Fantasy 9 |

Hey Blitz,
do you have an ISBN number on the final fantasy book, or some more info. I have never seen that one, but would like to check it out.
Thanks

Hey GC, I think you can get the book at your local video game store like Electronics Boutique or Software Etc. I was just browsing through that FF9 art book when I was at Software Etc. the other day...good stuff in there. |
