My only comment is I don't think you're drawing what you're seeing. It looks like your drawing with symbols. When I say that, what I mean is, the eyes look more like icons than eyes. The lips look more like an iconographic representation of lips than real lips. You need to unlearn the symbols that represent features and just draw what you see. Hope I'm not totally off base here and I hope you find this information useful.
