What do you guys think? It didn't come out exactly as I expected, but I think it's a large improvement over my last image, (I'll spare you the horror of giving you a link to that thread).
Anyway, I would really love some criticism on this, and it would be greatly appreciated.

How do my threads manage to sink to the bottom immediately?

Nice, but I think it lacks a certain feel of depth... Try adding more contrast to round her up a little.

Use the pen tool to clean up those lines and try going over each area after having masked it off - then the shading will flow better and make it look much cleaner. Also use BIG brushes to start and do the detail on a layer above it, fade it so it looks right and merge.
