Haha.. those are great! I love the trombone pic being a brass player myself. I think the top two are nice, but the facial structure is a little lacking. The top one isn't too bad, but the second one the eyes are off level.. the nose is pointing the opposite way from the face, and the mouth is not defined very well.. are those lips or teeth? Anyway, really nice ideas.. I like em.

hey, i really like these! they have a kind of sin city look to them! i got kind of lost in the 2nd one, i guess since there is no definate center of interest, and his eyes are kinda funky, but i love the last one of the trombone player! theres so much movement in these, its so cool!

Ever apply for inking at a comic book company? You seem to have alot of skill in the ability to use and balance monochromatic images.

thanks guys , well i didn t spent more than 20 minutes for each so it s quite rought (and and there is many mistakes ), but that s the way i like things thought, it is my first steps with Painter ; i have to say it is a great soft ! and quite faster than photoshop (that s the biggest difference i think).

hey MrHiemey, i ve just checked your pages , and i have to say your paintings are cool , i like your style , especially that orange-yellow girl pic , really stylish.

take care
and ... don't remember for the incoming new year :

YOU GOT TO FUNKIFIZE !! (tower of Power )

Very cool stuff man. I particularly liked the first and third pics the best (I'm a sax player). The second one looks like the face got a little bit off but you mentioned these were quick anyway...better than I can do in that time. The first one has great line energy and the third one reads great...looks like something out of a dimly lit jazz club of something. Great stuff, let's see some more!
