Well as some of you might know I'm reasonably new to this forum. And I've only started learning how to draw a few weeks ago. it's going pretty wel so far. Although I'm not that great of a sketch artist. My friend DRX tries to color and render all my drawings. Anyway I've started learning how to draw 'semi-realistic humans'. I use this term because I still have some problems with proportions as you can see. And i make up fantasy stuff as I go along. Just because I want to give them an outfit or something (Im not a fashiondesigner) The first picture is just a vampire girl wlaking through water. I made it as a guideline for DRX to practise water, skin ,hair, folded and ripped clothing on. I know not everything is that good. Like the hands. But I have a problem with the legs that i can't define. And the hair will be changed by DRX. I already noticed that was off balance at her forehead. In case you are wondering...I sketched some basic tears for her dress. To give the basic idea of what it should look like. The rest can be painted later on using this as a guideline. The other picture is one I made up for muscle stucture. The picture is not finished yet ofcourse. But I just wanted to know if all the shapes of the muscles are correct...Did I skip any? or did I draw too much? Did I draw the flow into the wrong direction at some points perhaps? She just looks really weird to me. but then again...I've only been drawing for a few weeks now. So I have to get used to everything. Suggestions will be very much appreciated.
