what do I need to start sketching with oils on paper ? I've read something about applying gesso the the surface i'm going to paint on and diluting the paint with turpentine for faster drying. What paper, board i should use ? I'm clueless..

Will gouache stick to translucent board / plastic / acrylics without loosing the grip after some time ?
