Nice man. Its very smooth and clean looking - steady handed. The metel was textured nicely too, btu i would bring up the highlights a bit more make it have a chromish look. O, and the bttm metal peace is a little blurred, Overall has a real nice composition though!

That's really beautiful.

For some reason it reminds me of a picture I've seen of Nefertite (you know, the dead, famous Egyptian lady? ). I think it was Nefertite at least... a photo of an ancient bust, showing her profile - she has an expression almost like this one.

thanks for you comments, im planning on taking them into consideration when i open it up again.

dryfire: ill go in and add a little more contrast, but i wanted the metal to not be too chromy, as i feel that can get tacky. yeah, the bottom piece is a little blured, but i wanted to show it being smooth and not as sharp edged, while still retaining a soft metal look..

Enayla : thanks WHOA, i never noticed that before... that is wierd. if you know of the "young flavian woman" portrait from ancient Rome around the time of c. 90 AD. anyway, i know a woman who looks exactly like that. My art Histroy teacher also looks exactly like Agustus Caesar (Agustus of Prima Porta). creepy stuff, but its cool
