What do think of the following picture:


I've drawn her with an wacom intuos, photoshop6 and an example photograph.

Looks pretty good so far. But a good rule to follow is that if you're going to draw a head, draw a neck too. It doesn't take much longer, and it really helps counter that "disembodied head" look.

As far as what you have down already, the shadow under her hair and the edge of her chin (on our left) don't look quite right... they're a bit dark, and not blended smoothly enough, I think.

The picture looks good. Go ahead and give her a neck too. Did you draw this pic from a reference picture? or is it something you just made up?

Yes I used a reference picture for this. Because no neck can be seen on that picture, it is a little more difficult, but i'm tweaking the drawing right now.

Hey, that's a major improvement Singa! I'd decrease the contrast and saturisation of the background a bit, since it draws the attention away from that nice chick )
