There is a lot of stuff that i have got lying around and i thought that if i have one thread where i post all my unfinished pictures, it's better than 10 different ones.
None of these are gonna be completed, but go ahead and crit if you want. All of these are done just for fun. Lot's of faces..I always do faces when i don't come up with an idea for something to draw

them to be . He he, i don't use myself

Great stuff, my favourite is the sci-fi one and the girl in that very cool pose.
But what did'ya do with the dude's eye? - even if it's intended to be a surprised or frightened look the eyeball seems sorta poppin' out - it's too big.
Did'ya use a wacom? |

Hey Micke! I like these quick sketches. They're all very different, yet still your style. I wish I had more time to do some colored stuff. Since you like to draw characters maybe you can put some color to this old guy I sketched.
old soldier guy
I was interested in how you did that green goblin thing a while back, but haven't had the time to really try out the technique. You're probably busy as hell so my feelings won't be hurt if you don't have the time
Keep up the good work!

Really interesting works.
I hope you update this thread usually !!!
(I have almost memorized your site ;;; )
The first one seems to have some Juan Gimenez (Metabarons)influences... What are good news... but... what an oddy transparent stairs that have the ship!!! ;;;
The girl pic is really astounding. I love the way you have detailed the face in oppositte of the rough finish if the other elements. It gives a nice feeling to the whole picture
See ya! |

Sempere:Juan Gimenez and Moebius is some of my favorite artists.
I don't like the girl pic, just some of the colours. The shapes of it sucks!
Sedone: Nice of you to stop by again!
I would love to try to colours your drawing.
It looks very cool. See you around!
Sear: Yes, i use PS. I'll try painter soon.
Frost i hate the first picture. It was a bad
idea and drawing from the start, but i just put it up since i almost finished it.
Thanks everybody for the comments!

Damn Micke, I love the technical aspect of the helmet pic (top image)!
The ship has a hawkish quality to the nose and cockpit. The helmet design is awesome too. As long as he doesnt have to turn his head he's set!
Now, I've got a question for you; do the designs for these things just come to you from yourt imagination, do you use some sort of resource for inspiration in design, or possibly study technical things around you?
I have a terrible time coming up with technical designs for ships or guns that I find acceptable.
Just wondering how you do it.
P.S.- I don't know what emotion you were going for with the fat guy but he looks to me like he's about to pee his pants. Theres that look of "Oh I cant hold it any longer, *aaahhhhhhhhhhhh*" on his face.
heheheheheh |

Great stuff Micke, I really like the guy with the goatee, You've got great linework.
btw, I think you've earned the right to post a new thread I don't think anyone's concerned with your work taking up to much space
anyway, great work, but it's kind of difficult to follow the second storyboard without more description of what's happening.

I know you don't like the first one, but I think the ship design is very interesting, has a lot of potential - did you ever draw that ship before, or since? |

Micke, those storyboards are amazing! You are so good w/ shapes. The one done only w/ values is so damn cool. Looks like a little comic. Is that drawn straight in photoshop? I need to learn how to board...
Your other images are great as well...*of course*...=)
-feng
So when are you gonna start your own graphic novel? Seriously! Start fishing for a publisher (maybe submit to HeavyMetal...good exposer). Your drawing/design/style skill is better than most comic artists out there. |

this is really great!
the face and the woman standing is awsome..
and the rest to...but i really like those two...is it from sketches or direct painted in photoshop?
when you color youre stuff, do you create youre own color swatches or just chose from the sliders? (in photoshop) just a thing that was in my mind...
show us more...more more..
more of that rough stile..love it!
