Here's the finished version of a pic I posted a little while ago. It's my first full blown illustration done in Photoshop, so any comments or feedback would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Nice! I really like the colours.
as for crits well...
It looks a bit confused around the chest area to me, but I'm not sure. It seems more like she's got metalic skin as opposed to a breast plate. her right knee is looking a bit pointy as well. I might have put some reflected light on the underside of the armband on the outstreched hand.
But yeah ummm... I couldn't do better there's some really tricky stuff in there that you pulled off with style.
Top stuff. |

If I were 14 again and played Magic: The Gathering I would say that this picture looks like those found on the cards - but since I am not 12 and do not play the game I will say...
"Nice picture." |

Nice colors...I think the sword looks awesome!
I agree that the sky needs a little something
but I wouldn't touch that sword.
The breat plate looks a little flat compared
to her skin under her left arm, but I love
the texture you gave it.
All together a nice composition with few flaws.

Nice looking image. I'd agree that something needs to be done to the breast plate as it struck me as the first thing that was odd. It looks like you are trying to make it dirty and scratchy but something isn't quite right that I can't put my finger on.
At the moment you are also drawing attention to the female and the decapitated head is difficult to see how it is resting. Maybe you are trying for this, maybe not. Just thought I'd mention it. |

That's really good Fat Asassin.
Her face is done extremely well, and the background is very nice.
The ogre(?)'s face is a bit 'mushy' (for wont of a better word) and there seems to be something funny going on with her breastplate (probably just the way the reflections are defining the shape) but overall it's very good.
Nice work.

Thanks for all the feedback. A lot of people mentioned the breastplate so I'll have to go back and rework it. I kind of see what you mean, I think I was trying to make it too realistic and just didn't have the skills to pull it off. Maybe if I simplify the colors and and clean it up it will be less confusing.
I agree about the sky too. I'm going to put some more work into that.
Thanks again.

It looks really awsome, and the only thing I would change is the sky and the blood... The blood on the blade appears a little flat, and the sky should perhaps be a little bit more blurred, or everything else brought into better focus in order to show proper depth in the picture. Keep it up-- it looks great |
