well considering only the face that is the only part with some refining done i'd say i like it
change big time the hand though and give the poor chap a decent badass dark background (a crypt's wall or something )
i could diss on the topic but the pic definitively has a certain something to it (my view of elves is from tolkien's works, but that's just because he's been the first to influence my sight of high fantasy)
EDIT: i got it, it's the eye that caught me, and the lips, oh and the black lines ala dragged rapidograph (it sort of reminds me of one of the dark knight volumes but i couldn't quite put the finger on wich author's)

great sketch, but thats got to be the ugliest elf i've ever seem .
only real crit, and i'm not even sure if its a problem (maybe just an observation) since its soft of cool if its your intention, but he looks like hes on stage.
