The Situation:
You are to be locked up in a castle tower for the remainder of your life (you probably had a little too fun with the king's only daughter, or something like that...), and are to be asked to choose ONE image that will decorate your stone wall.
The Quest:
Now, what the heck would be choose to stare at for another couple of decades, and first and foremost - why that particular one?
Just write down the image name, the author and a link to where one can see it - and then wrap it all up with a minor comment on why you'd die looking at this one.
Sorry if you think I'm lame, but I'm just curious...

I'd have to say "The Lord of the Rings" by... well - the goddam thing is that I've forgotten who the artist is and can't seem to find it either...

I've had this one as a poster for several years, but had to throw it away some time ago due to "lack of maintance" and I'm still looking for it...
It's flawless the way the details work out together in a 'forgotten-time' design that makes you standing looking at it over and over again... great piece.

I'd like to have a window thank you. Full 3D more real than real action taking place in real-time with radiosity lighting, geometry displacement and everything at the speed of light (well, almost everything, gravity is faster)
