This is the last one that I've had scanned, but the first one I drew.

Its sort of inspired by the awsome looking new game in development, Red Faction.

This is a mild re-design, but my colorization is going to be Rust Red.

I was kinda thinking that soldiers on Mars would need to blend in, as here on Earth, therefore would have a camoflage tone to them.

RED!!!

The current design/skins show the soldiers as being blue, which means they stick out like sore thumbs!



Ive started to colorize it, but wanted to get this stuff up for critique quick, as Ive been itching to do since I drew them!

Hmm.. nice at all. I think his right hand (gun hand) looks a bit strange. I'm not sure. Maybe it's too much twisted. It could be anatomically ok but it looks kinda strange. This is my opinion. This one would be nice in colors.

His arms are a bit too short, or not the same length each . His legs are a bit off, too.. too short I think. You worked on details too much instead of the actual human figure. His wrist standing up looks like it's been broken . But I can see you tried to focus on the depth of the character, which is pretty good, except for his feet, which don't seem very laid on the ground.

Yeah, Ive got problems with hands, but Ive also got Burn Hogarth's Drawing Dynamic Hands, so Im going to practice my hands.

Im sure everybodies noticed that in all three of my drawings I think the hands were the worst part. Thats why I bought this book.

I think the face on this one kinda blows too, which is why Im doing this one up more as a painting from a sketch, instead of a colorization of a sketch. Im going to make some changes and corrections.

Mabye the gun could look more impressive in the size and shape.
