First off - I apologize if this counts as newbies filling the forum with crap. I worked pretty hard on this thing, and this wacom has a hell of a learning curve.
Crit welcomed - mostly, 'How do I get rid of the slightly 'soft' look the airbrush gives', but also anything that can be done to improve this thing.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Yeah, that's really nice. I suggest using more of the hard-edged brushes. That'll reduce the soft look. Personally, I think the paintbrush is more versatile than the airbrush, so you might want to try that too.

Hey, that's really nice. I'd go with Tinusch's advice, just use the paintbrush - make sure you have "opacity" checked. But honestly, I don't think this picture looks too soft at all. You're obviously getting used to your wacom quickly.

One thing that looks kind of strange to me with your pic is the gums - they could stand to have a little more detail, perhaps some ridges where the teeth continue upward into the bone. That's more of just a personal opinion though. I really like this one.

very cool.

i agree with waylon about the gums. they seem to be begging for a little more definition (and while your at it maybe the teeth could use a line delineating the top set form the bottom set). also i might add just a hint more color to the gums, and perhaps the background.

sweet job.

Hahaha!
Thats a great pic. I can just imagine that thing say "Whazaaa...!" in a high pitched voice.
Doesn't look newbie at all.

Crits (for what its worth which isn't much):
The gums look soft, if you decide to add some detail to them it would improve the image imho. Also, don't know if its by design but the upper lip seems a little strange, its like missing a shadow that it should cast on the upper gum or something. Adding more detail where the teeth press together could also help.

Very cool image, it went to my personal collection

Thank's for the feedback guys - good call on the gums. I'm all over it.

Thanks again!
