Welcome back man. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Yeah, the forum's been kinda "weird" lately...feels like a different crowd and the over-all quality of work hasn't been that impressive either. Good to see you back....and tell those presto people to start posting again....francis seems to be the only one around these days....where's fred and wacomonkey? must be the girls.....hehe...which i totally understand...

Glad to see you are back in one piece, Loki
Did you take any pictures? Sounds like it went well. Thanks for the update...

Thanks for the nice welcome backs, guys!

Didn't take any photos, since my digital camera's batteries weren't charged. Sorry!

Fred & Waco are probably busy ...

As for the forum:
We've been through waves like this before, haven't we? So I wouldn't worry. The only problem is the posting speed - it only takes a few hours for a normal post to disappeear. I hope Dhabih can make the topic page larger.
Spooge is busy working too, so it'll be a while since we see stuff from him.

I got a call on tuesday this week - chances are that I might be working on 'Harry Potter' - keep your fingers crossed guys!

Thanks again!

Loki-welcome back. Glad to see you are back in form. Sorry we missed you at dinner. And you never got a chance to look at my stuff really. We got as far as Waco's desk, and that was that. Next time friend.

I haven't been on the forum lately because of work, compounded, but I have a lot of images I want to post, but have to get approval for most of them. I downloaded a few images to do repaints on, but I haven't had a chance to find them either. I hope we all get back in form again, and get the forum back in form. I will have to jump on in a few weeks though, I just wanted to say welcome back to the grind Loki...

GC - hahaha ... sure you did - I saw you lurking at a corner, and then talking to Fred and Francis, gesturing with your hands and then pointing in a completely different direction than the restaurant! Yes - that's how it was! *pant pant*

Loki - Sure he did, he drove (or took a plane!) to San Diego just to derive Fred and Francis to somewhere else, instead of all of you joining up and eating I'M SURE HE WOULD BE PROUD!

I think Wacomonkey just wanted some "alone" time with Loki. He is quite a handsome devil after all.

Hello everybody!

Haven't been on the forum for a week and don't recognize half of the people that a posting - or maybe I'm just getting old.

Well, I had last week off, jumped on my bike last wednesday and drove straight down to Dan Diego to meet the 'Trio Infernale": Fred, Francis and Wacomonkey.
After two hours on the freeway I made it to Presto Studios. Their office is really nice and after I signed the obligatory NDA they let me inside!
Got to meet the guys! What a cool bunch - also got to see some Myst3 stuff - and the only thing I have (and can) say is that it looks a w e s o m e.
In the evening we went to dinner - I rode with W-monkey, and, shudder, he is a fantastic driver ... (I think I remember looking at the speedometer in a freeway onramp - it was around 100 mph ...!).
Unfortunately Francis and Fred were waiting at a different restaurant due to general confusion - so I saw them again the next morning
I really have to thank Wacomonkey for being such a nice host and showing me around!!!!!
Also big thanks to Fred and Francis for inviting me and showing me their awesome work!

Next time you guys will be my guests!

So, when are we having our Santa Monica based meeting??????

Welcome back Loki. I've been here all week and I don't recognize the names posting either. I think someone advertised the forum on a children's site. (no offense to the new folks)

Hooray for Low-key!! Yes, alot of newbies and alot of posts by Jenn.. So I guess me and Frost need to go to San Diego now..

I'm glad you guys had fun! Do you have pictures we can see? I have some pictures of when I took a trip to Norway and visited Innerloop, but I guess I didn't want to brag about it and draw too much undeserved attention to myself

What language is "Trio infernale" ? If it's french, infernale doesn't take an "e" at the end

Uh, Francis, actually I think you're way more handsome that Wacomonkey ... but I guess we should take this to the 'Random Admirations" forum ...

Potter - well, probably some 2.5D stuff - meaning painting and 3D. Well, didn't go over there to talk to them yet - hope they call me again, 'cause I really wanna work on it! And the VFX-supervisor is Rob Legato - I worked for him on A13 and Titanic - he rocks!

Loki - Ah! my sensitive self-image is crushed! but really I think Francis was talking about your own devilish irresistibility. But hey, welcome back! I was more than happy to have you visit. I only regret screwing up on the restaurant. Oh well...

Hey, good news on Harry Potter. Good luck with that...

Vortx - 'the girls...' HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! I wish. Ohhh... you mush have been talking about Ron!

BooMsticK - Well, it was late at night on a totally empty, long and straight off-ramp. The car is capable of much more... I didn't even introduce Loki to "tire squeel", so I wasn't pushing it. I certainly wouldn't do any thing to jeopardize our precious Loki. (and I won my race this saturday. Cheers for our side!)

Hey, Loki
Who are you referring to as "them"?
If it's who I think, email me directly & I might be able to do some checking from the inside for you.
PS - I'll almost definitely be working on it.

Hi loki!
I think you were mentioned in the last issue of the german magazine 3dlive in connection with neo and jowood (don't know how to spell them correctly). I thought it has been quite some time since you worked for them :-). Or are you trying to work in the austrian computer gaming industry again :-) ?
