God I feel like spamming you with this newbie question. But there's a first for everything, and even a duck has to be taught to swim.....
I wasn wondering what kind of good 3D programs are out there. I need something like 3D Studio Max, but something I can afford. I simply don't have the money to get it right now, and since I'm just getting started with the 3D part of my art I don't think it would be a good idea anyways. So what kind of alternatives are out there and where could I get them ?

Thanks a lot

also you can check out milkshape 3d, it is also freeware and is based on 3d studio max (interface is quite the same).

as for the url, try www.milkshape.com but i doubt that's it, you can however find the link on the files page of the gaming site i designed, www.planetfortress.com/catacombs
