just finsihed the eagleboss which i showed a sketch for... anyhow, does it look okay?
and one other thing, which version is better? i need to know so i can choose the right one for my site...thanks

Nice improvement....didn't wanna say it at first. But, and there's always a but....I third that notion....KILL THE LENSFLARES!!

Now I'm no professional, but one of the first things I figured out (the hard way, doh!) is that lensflares, unfortunately, are widely disrespected.

They scream "cheesy filter!" or "newbie pic!". Not necessarily in your pic, but ANY pic. You can spot them a mile away. It's like crack for artists... addictive, but BAD! Try hand-doing something in place of the lensflare.

Just my (and everyone else's) 2 cents!

kill lensflares.. yadda yadda.. agree with everyone else... lensflare bad!

But yes, you DO need something behind it. And there are about a billion techniques for making your own non-photoshop-filter lensflare that won't get everyone's panties in a ruffle. Like... a single click with a big soft brush would probably do.

i just liked the idea of beams of light from behind him... i think the image would suffer without it...i'll have a look
