Yes, I am very glad the dynamo Fred is here spinning out the answers at light speed. Kinda like mr goodwrench for art. Mr goodbrush... wait a minute scratch that.
Yes, it's cool having more experienced artist here who can answer questions. And now you can too, hehe..
Thanks for the Fixler info. I would like to look into the Harry Carmean-Vern Wilson ACCD style and how it developed. |

I want to hear anything you can find about this Fixler Aproach , anything at all!! I want to know more....if you can point me in the direction of some of that info..
Since I have all the Loomis books now, and all of the Bridgeman books....is there anything else I should be looking out for?
Where Spooge?...do tell!!
Thanks!!

ozenzo, those books are a great start, now try to get in to as many life drawing workshops as you can, and apply the things you learn from the books. The books are a great start but when it comes to drawing the human form there are things that can only be learned from drawing the model. Make sure you post your drawings here, there are many great figure artists on the forum. One tip:
Look, Analyze, Execute. In that order,
think simple, complexity is the fruit of the devil. If you make your way to So Cal there are three good schools that teach the "Fixler" aproach.
