I know this post belongs in "the other" forum, but please here me out.

GO SEE "THE CELL". This movie has some of the most incredible designs I've ever seen. They did a perfect job of portraying dreams (I have personally writen down 75 of my own dreams, and remember them well, and I was impressed at how they handled such a difficult look)

Go see it! It is beautiful, incredible, and bizare.

That is all.

Dear lord! That was the strangest movie I've ever seen! Well... second strangest. But that's beside the point.

I'll vouch Isric's opinion of the visual effects though. Very nice. Good use of color to set the mood of the scene.

some really nice footage in this flick. colorfull, imaginative and freaky.

odd, wacked out movie. once you go into the killers mind the rest of the movie feels like a marilyn manson video, wacked out and nasty, but visually cool. this had some more fantasy and surreal elements that i liked. Im going to watch it again to try and enjoy the costumes (that ring cape is just sooo cool) and backgrounds more

fairly lame movie. no point to half of it. good visuals..id love to be the art director. but this was more of a music video (ala his "losing my religion" than a movie).
a better music video movie: run lola run. however..the scene where his cape comes down from the ceiling..was pretty tight. as was the horse scene..though that had no point to the movie

Beautiful and bizzare for sure. The story however is really weak.
They could have structured his dream world much more so it relates to trauma in his life, instead its just a random pile of ideas.

Run Lola Run is one of my favorite movies. I personally have not seen The Cell yet, but it looks to be very interesting... and hey, having Jennifer Lopez in it isn't a bad thing either.
