Hello, all. It's been about 7 months, but I finally got around to posting some new screen shots for my company's video game (Vendetta). Considering I'm responsible for about 95% of the artwork seen in these shots (including menu design, special effects, etc etc), I'd really appreciate some feedback.

And yes, I know that practically ever screen shot has an explosion in it. It's a very dangerous world we're building here!

The explosions look...what's the word...artificial? I dunno, they just don't look like explosions. Everything else is nice tho! |

gseegert: Thanks. It'll still be a few years before we release, but we'll be doing a public beta beforehand. I'll post on here when that starts.
SewerRat: Yeah, I was going for more of an anime-style special effectsy look... Like something you might see in one of the Final Fantasy games or something. They'll be fancier as the game progresses and we code more particle systems and things.
Anyway, thanks for the input! |

Concept art?!?! Bah!
Actually, there are very few interesting models in the game at this point, and most of them were created as I was just playing around, learning to use 3ds Max. Not exactly the ideal way to go, but hey. This is my first video game.  |
