If you're using windows-
press the "print screen" key on your keyboard, this takes a snapshot of whatever is on screen at the moment, and places it in your memory clipboard. then, just paste the image in a blank photoshop file. (ctrl-v)
(when you open a new image in photoshop, it automatically creates it with the exact size of whatever that is in your clipboard) |

Mac or PC?
PC is print screen and then paste
MAC is some wierd shit I can't remember. look in the help.
Mac is like ten times better for taking screen grabs. |

MAC- Cmd+shift+3 (snapshop of whole screen)
Cmd+Shift+4 (select area to be snapshot)
