Hi, just thought I'd share a recent sketch with you all. Any feedback is of course, more than welcome.
She's very scantily clad, as you might've noticed. That's because the client wanted it that way. hehe. The assassin is to be modeled into a fantasy miniature by a small German miniature company.

Hi. To me it looks like the guy has quite big feet and if I'm not mistaken a fantasy character in your previous posting also seemed to have pretty large shoes. I think you could pay attention to that in future..

Thanks for the comments. Most of the time (4 or 5 hours) went into the assassin herself. The background was kinda thrown together to add composition really, thus certain elements aren't as "tight".
Francis, you're right in that your lighting version would make the most logical, visual sense. I kinda had to bend a little because the details of the assassin had to be visible for the modeler guys to err.. model from. Otherwise, she should be shrouded in darkness.

Very detailed and excellent (even with boo boos) I love both versions. Black and white always holds such mystery. Well done.

My client really liked it, except for one thing: he wanted me to show her feet. How ironic it is that the only thing he didn't like about the pic is something I can do nothing about. (considering the pic filled the whole sheet of paper as it is) It's so hard to please people nowdays.

If he'd take a photocopy version, do a little dance draw some feet on a seperate and merge that and taht of the original in photoshop! Keep on disc and get it rolledout at a quality printshop at it's original size! Don't spend to much though! Here it runs about 30pds for b&w at 20x20inches, photo quality. Dunno where you are so their may be a dip in the price..... oh well...just trying to help! |

Thanks for the idea, DbyD! I just might consider it if the situation goes downhill. |
