Grrr....I finally got my new .22 pitch Sony 21 inch monitor...and the frequency of the monitor is actually screwing up my Intuos 6x8! This is mentioned on the the wacom website FAQ, so it's a recognized problem with some higher-end monitors but it still pisses me off! I have to lean way back in my chair with the tablet to use it, or else the cursor goes into seizures on the screen if the tablet is too close to the monitor. Arrgh. It works fine if I'm running in 1280x1024, but the monitor was meant to run in 1600x1200 or higher, and that's where you really see the advantages of .22 pitch. Unfortunately, that's also where the tablet starts malfunctioning. GRR!!

Has anyone else heard of this problem, or am I one of a handful of LUCKY people who just happened to buy two things that HATE each other? :P

Oh well. Just to make this post worthwhile, here's a pic of something sexy if anyone out there likes "furry" art...*waits to get beaten down by anti-furry people*

also, is there any reason why when I post in this forum from home, I can't actually SEE my posts? But I can see them from work? Do I need to set something in IE? It pisses me off that I can never see my posts until I go to work...then I come home and I can see them. How weird is that?

Hey Moro,

I've had exactly the same problem when I got my monitor. First time I switched everything on I got the infamous cursor jitter.

I also came to the somewhat shitty conclusion that the further away the two were seperated, the less the jitter was. Strangely enough after I switched the system off at the end of the day and came back the next morning, the jitter was completely gone and has never returned. I have no idea what caused it to dissappear.
Perhaps you could try diffirent screen refresh rates in combination with your prefered resolutions...??

Hope your problem solves as easily as it did with me...

Moro, as far as your IE problem. More than likely it's because the initial page has been cached, and thus simply is reloaded after you post whatever, causing you miss the new content.

The two most obvious solutions would be to flush the cache/temporary files directory. You can do this from the TOOLS->Internet Settings menu under General settings tap.
Delete the files at the initial menu.
Also, under settings for the temp files, you can set the option 'check for new versions of stored pages' to 'automatically', or 'always', depending on your mood

(the above may vary from version to version of IE, but should be valid enough)

WOW! Moro, I've been having this problem for over a year. Ive got a .22 dot pitch Hitachi 753, 19", and a Calcomp 12"x12" tablet. It goes into seizures ALL THE TIME. And Ive never been able to figure out why. Im going to try to do some art sitting away from my monitor and see how that works. Sorry your having a problem, but, THANK YOU!

Glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem! It's still doing it, but I've learned to lean back and draw. It's better on my back, anyway.
