I just realized what these remind me of. There are a couple of nifty holograms at the Lenin-museum here, and these look quite a lot like them (not the subject matter, of course, but the way they look) except for the colours.

fred flick stone...its done in photoshop..i have never used or seen Zbrush

texture used is not by me.. its a free texture from www.freetextures.com I think. The rest is airbrushed by me of course
