I like the first one, very original...the other two from Gundam Wing, or Macross?

Keep up the experimenting, you'll find your voice...

Work on defining cast and form shadows a little more. Image 3, they are all soft, under the nose, bellow the chin, and the blue shadows with a brown line around them, not really that effective. Transition within the same hue, don't intermix them...

Wow, good stuff, clay. The first one looks like an animation cell. I tried going to your site, but it's down, so keep posting!

HumanClay:

Great stuff! This is the type of art that I like. Bright colors, clean shading, etc. I try to do the same sort of stuff, but mine's a bit more cartoony.

Gnarly stuff, HC! (Yes, I said "gnarly")

Keep it up, Clay-dogg! I'd love to see more...

Excellent! I like the second one the best.
Don't be afraid to post more! (when you have the leisure to paint more that is)

The first one reminds me of Monkey Island. Really nice work though.

Alright, the positive feedback from some of the people I admire most in these forums has given me the courage to post my only digital work.. dont tear it to shreads too badly, constructive criticsm is very welcomed.

This was my first attempt, done in Photoshop, painted over a pencil sketch

This one had colour flats laid out with pencil crayon, then was heavily digitized in Photoshop

And this one was just a quick airbrushing over top of a pencil sketch..

I haven't really taken the time yet to "polish" my digital work only because I lack the time.. but this is where I stand currently.

Truly,
HumanClay

That's it! Your'e allready there!
I can't believe how good your stuff is and i don't understand why you've been worrying at all.I like all of those pictures, the colours on the first one, the shapes, form,
pose and colouring on the second and the
third one looks fantastic
The only thing i cAn point out is the hand
that the character in the second pic holds by his face. it looks a bit off if you compare it to the other hand wich looks fantastic. Keep up the good work!
It also seems tro me that you're doing all kind of stuff and not just one thing. I like that!

Wow, the first one is really impressive...
Is the first original, because I know that at least the second one is from Xenogears (that game rocks by the way). But the coloring is really nice! Umm...on the third pic, under the guys lower jaw, on his neck it kinda looks like he got burned there or something? (possibly dodge tool)
Excellent work! Can't wait to see more.
