Did it yesterday in a row, something i never do, usually i spread the work through a few days/weeks.
Was on it until 3am and 'closed' the topic as my eyes were hurting and couldn't see anything from the tears...
I wonder, do others go this far too or am i insane ?? my eyes still hurt this morning and it scares me off that i could be half blind with 30 :/

Thats just like Banners from warhammer 40k. I used to paint small miniature figures and I also did few banners.
Your picture looks like mixture of 3d and 2d. Did you render it 1st and then used some paint prog to finish it ?

I got slowly to my actual page design inspired a bit by his. http://www.planetquake.com/strangefate
It's all 2d, photoshop, the skull was sketched on paper first with some basic shading then scanned and worked out with the rest in ps.
And yes, installed chaos gate again (w40k based game) some days ago and it really got me going on that theme
