Hi y'all. This forum has been growing like hell over the last couple of months, and I really think we should thank Dhabih for setting up this huge fountain of inspiriation, and ofcourse all the co-posters for sharing their work with us. Digital art wouldn't be as much fun as it is now without this board...

Keep posting, and let's make sure we reach the 25.000!

334 posts of the near 10,000 are mine. That's kinda sad.. however, there are some who have even more than I! :P

But I will hunt those people down and make them have sex with various breeds of sheep, so it's all fine and dandy.

Your welcome! i am so happy of the direction these forums have taken, its grown a lot bigger than i was ever expecting. It's great that so far its been mostly a real positive place for everyone to share their art and get feedback and ask questions. I know i've learned a lot from others here too. I have some ideas on expanding the site a little more (nothing real ambitious)...but one thing at a time...i gotta get the next tutorial out first.

Immediate thing i'd like to get going is a theme to draw of the week or two...there was a thread about this a few months ago and i never got around to implementing it. Then the very fast pig post that got start a week ago popped up and reminded me of it, and it was probably one of the funnest and interesting topics i'd read, so i really want to get something like that going on a regular basis (and organized so its not like 15 different ideas in the same day).

Because of the new load of traffic though, some may have noticed a slow down in the forums, so i'm gonna look into some faster servers. so that should be fixed soon.

if anyone has any ideas, suggestions to make these forums and/or my own web site more useful, please lemme know.

-dhab

I have to thank Dhabih and everyone else for their contributions. This forum inspires me, even when I'm tired from the typical day of working along side the bitchy clients that the graphic design industry has to offer, to go home and continue painting and enjoying the reasons why I got in the field in the first place. All the contributors here make me remember that art isn't just a vehicle to sell someone's product, but is actually a soothing way to keep all the voices in my head from taking over.

Thank you Dhabih for starting all this. Being an art instructor already, I felt the need to get tutorials online for all the people who can't relocate to where there is the proper facilities to learn from. When Francis pointed this site out to me, and I saw some of the talent posted, I knew this was where that ground work needed to be attached. I get really stoked when I see the counter jump significantly every time I log on. This place gets some severe traffic, and I would love to help bring in more. A world art forum, what an amazing thing. I am proud to be a part of something so damn revolutionary...Thanks again Dhabih...

Thanks, Dhabih!

It was your site alone that made me decide to give digital art a shot. Your artwork inspired me to learn more and to continue to refine my skills. Hopefully one day I can be as good as you are!!

/me heartily congratulates Dhabih for his monumental contribution to the world of art. What an inspiration...

Thanks, man! You're the best on the net, D!

Wow, this is post number 402 for me... Thanks a lot Dhab. I may not be all that great an artist even after picking up so much from you guys, but I've sure had a fun time experimenting.

Yep this MB is busy as hell...
I'm just a newbie if you compare me with the real Die Hard members here, aah well...I'm getting close to my first 100 posts and I'm here every day! Yep, I've no work, only homework but I don't make that very often. This MB is much more important! Anyway, I hope to be a Die Hard member one day... *heh*

maybe this is a little late .. and eventhough this is a new sign on , which I've had since DEC '99 I have really been a member since way back 98' or '97 .. dont quite remember .. But This site has really helped me evolve and learn, and given me a real sense of artistic talent. I thank you Dhabih , AND all the really good artists for taking their time to post .. and share your knowledge .. that really means something to everybody .. Thank You
