A very strong start. There are a few things to watch out for. Is this a sky scene, or is it concentrating on the city. There is a bit too much sky in the image with not alot of interest. This image just screams for a really big billowy cumulus clouds or something grand in the sky. The blurred branch would serve better in that large void area in the sky, with a partial overlap with the mountains. As it is right now, where the branch is placed sorta interrupts the beautiful work you put into your middle ground.
And visually, the buildings look like they are bowing. They all look like they are on two different slopes, and not the same solid ground plane. Given, walls aren't necessarily built on flat ground, but the illusion in the image tends to cause the city to take on a ripple look.

Beyond those points, the image is beautiful. Inspired by El Dorado?

BEAUTIFUL !!!
I'm speechless... Ancient city with great detail. It reminds me of some RPG long time ago.
I wish I would have seen this picture back then.
Great work !

I really like this one. I like the branch cause it makes me feel like I'm right there looking down at the city. And I like the sky and the lighting on the the city. Really cool. Do you have a website? I'd like to see mooooore

Thanks a lot for your opinions.I thought this image as a backgroud for a complex 3d scene in which the interesting point was a woman placed in front of the camera(hidding the whole background). You're right Fred, the perspective makes the city looks like placed over a strange ripple, and the composition leaves too much space in
the upper part of the painting, but this is because the reasons above.

Yeah, I agree with Flick here, about the sky.. also, I think that the town has a bit too much contrast, but maybe that's just my personal taste.. nevertheless, nice picture.
