Molly rushes to the rescue! As her first act as patron saint, she will wave her magical Wacom pen and appoint you all knights. So from now on, you'll be known as Sir Bop, Sir Tinusch, Sir Affected and Sir the-rest-of-you.

The problem you are referring to, is the same problem I have with my mouse(usb). Basically the cursor doesn't keep up with your hand movements. Try signing your name as fast as you normally do with a real pen... you'll see that the cursor won't keep up.

I'm wondering, are there better(faster) programs than Photoshop to do sketching with? Or could using an older version of Photoshop solve this problem? As I've noticed with many newer applications, as soon as they get fancier, they also get slower.

Saffron: I want to see you try some high-res pics some time. Something sharp and detailed. I mean, I love your painterly pics, the color choices and overall composition are GREAT. But I'm just interested in seeing what you can do as far as photorealism. Hell, your 8-bit demoscene graphics are almost photo-realistic, I can only imagine what you could do now with Painter or Photoshop...

i hope i'm not bothering ppl with this topic because some of you totally freak out seeing another wacom topic...

I've got a penpartner from wacom now but i think it's a little small and when i draw very quick I don't get nice round curves. Does it makes sense to buy a (fairly high priced) Intuos A4?

I'm in doubt... help me out

Oh, and not getting round curves when you draw quickly isn't because of the tablet. It's a Photoshop problem, no matter what tablet you have you'll probably get that problem.

Try sketching in Painter, it's a bit slower, but you'll make much more smoother lines & curves. Sketching in photoshop is dull, atleast if you use the opacity option, then you have to press hard as hell to get a dark line (if you are too lazy to change the pressure thingy in the control panel that is )

arent the intous suppose to come wit that 4d mouse?

the grpahire comes wit a cordless balless mouse with scrool that yer talking about tho.. i dont use it :P

want mine? $10 haha

oyeah sketching in painter does kick photoshop in the nuts.. its life like look and feel and pressure sensitivity.. even wit the opacity mode on, the photoshop pencil doesnt act like a real one like painter does very nice
