Heya I'm Morganic. 17 years old, from Holland, etc etc you don't care.
Anyway I really like 2d computer arts. I'm learning some airbrushing right
now. I still blow nutz, so you'll never see any "Hi, here's my very 1st
piece of crap" posts from me either.

I've been doing webdesign for some time now, which I enjoy very much. Check
out my site. It's far from finished though, I'll start all over tomorrow
since this one started to look too much like Cable's website.

On to the tattoo part. I need help sketching out a tattoo so I can
show it to one of those sweaty tattoo guys. I can't draw anything correct
enough to print/needle/ink on my body for the rest of life.

I saw the tattoo on Peter Svensson's elbow (guitarist 'Cardigans') and I'm
planning to get the same one next month (after my finals).
It's isn't a tribal or anything, just some vague uh..thingy.
Here are some pics (I'm sorry about their size).

Complete tattoo:

A bit more detailed part:

Part of a sketch so far (should be rounder and well..just better):

I'm sorry for the bad quality too. My digi-cam is crap, as well as the tv and
vcr. :P

Well, if you can help me out, I'll be in your debt for the rest of my life.

Greetz 'n Thanx,
Morganic

Looks like a tribal turtle to me. And, why are you getting the exact same tatt? Why not design something original?

Oh the guy is sort of my guitar hero.
I was going for some asian dragon on my
risk, but it's hard to find some good
pics for that.
And I like the elbow thing, I've never seen
it before.

btw, A turtle..hmm.. I've never seen it that
way..perhaps it is. (though not tribal)

Have you ever seen tribals? They have a very original style and this one doesn't look like any one I've seen.

(ie. no thick colored inkspots or sharp edges)

Sure the seems to originate from Indian tribes etc, but it isn't even Indian..

ah whatever. go home.

Hmmm... someone mentioned haida... and I live right by haida country, and I can tell u that it's almost certainly not haida... anyways, you'd have better luck getting someone who DOES native art from around this area to redesign it for you, cause the general style is kinda similar... so look for ppl in northern BC to do it for ya ;-)
oh, I'd do it, but I suck..

Definately a turtle.
Definately inspired by a technique developed by American Indians of the North west coast of which the Haida and the Kwakiutal are the most representative.
