A while back some people like Danny were talking about using split-screen technique in Photoshop and I would like to know how it is done. I remember someone saying that he saves the file as a .psd then opens a copy I another window and whatever modifications are done to the original file is reflected in the other window (which is set at a different zoom level) I tried to do this now but I can't seem to figure out how to open the same file in another window.. I tried loading 2 Photoshop processes but the program only allows one.
If you know how to do this please post, it shall be greatly appreciated.. also, Danny and that other guy (sorry I forgot your name if you're reading this, please elaborate on your technique, thanks

Go to View>New view.
Another apparently useful feature I've known about for ages but have been too stupid to use... |

After you save the file and it is still open.. go to the file menu and open the same file. It will tell you that it is already open do you want to open another window and you just click yes.
Or.. like Affected said.

Oh, one thing: doesn't this chew up on system resources?
