Well i've been working constantly fiddling around with the methods in Dhabih's tutorial. I must say the original sketch was excellent to work with. I resized the original Sketch (Which Isn't mine By the way, cant sketch with a mouse) to 1600x1200 and started that way, resized it down and use a sharpen filter and added "Screen" to it so it made the colors more vibrant. I must say it was a real bitch trying to smudge in that resoultion, it was lagging like crazy on my 433 128mb ram. As you can also see i didnt get to finish that leaf decoration on her head.
Anyway here's the finished picture:
And the original sketch, i couldnt read the name on it :P:

Looks nice, even though some parts look a little too 'drawn', such as the lower lip and the leaves in her hair. If I was allowed to give you some constructive advice, I'd say:
- Darken the eyeballs a little (a bit too white).
- Lighten the left side of the forehead, cheeks, nose and shoulder.
- Apply hightlights on the leaves (dodge-tool set to 'hightligh').
- Use the sponge tool on the lower lip (slightly).
Try it, post it. I hope this comment was of any help Once again, nice work! |

Very nice start on your picture. I agree with what Oscar has to say. Keep up the good work and post the finished product when you're done. Can't wait |
