Hmm.. something I made in a couple of hours in PS for practice.. very unfinished. lots of errors (anatomy, material shading). Comments are welcome.

Hah Shar, you here too.
Well, I can't really say anything about the pic, bcoz all the stuff I would say are reffering to things you meantioned and are aware of. So no point in that.
Hope #pixel is doing ok =)

DuKEZ, derPunkt - thanx guys for the replies.
I knew, I couldn't draw bodies in motion, and in 2 hours, and in twice the res, and on my old p133 48mb ram machine ;]
Static stuff is so much easier to draw.
Here are some more of my pics, I hope they are a bit better: http://pixel.scene.org/shar
Comments are welcome too...

Whoa! The pics at your site are great! The two females are damn hot
Very stunning and beautiful.
And I like your other 'travel' pic a lot too! The hand is a bit small, but I think it's very atmospheric. It gives me such a weird but very cool feeling inside. And I love the background of the pic, sure it may not be super detailed or technically brilliant, but it delievers a great sense of isolation in the fields and the sky reminds me of crisp winter nights when the sun had just set... Sorry, your pic really triggered my imagination...
Great stuff

thanx again for the comments people ;)
jasonN: you are right about the 'travel' one - i didn't spend much time on it at all and even less on the background. the idea was mostly to catch the mood of isolation and lonely travel. based on your comment, it seems that i did to some extent ;]
tanis: no it's not a retrace - it was done in photoshop from scratch. but i must admit i did use some photos and people around me as references for the eyes, hair lighting, skin tones. the hair is still messy in places, but my patience is gone, I wanna move on to something new ;).
