Just came up with an idea. (I won't say its brilliant, since i dont know what other pplz think about it yet  ) Why dont some guys start a irc channel helping people out with digi-art problems, or just for general discussion about the subject? Kinda like this forum, but you'd get direct answers.
Reply and tell me what you think.

I already mentioned before, there is a channel for that on the IRCNET already - #pixel. A lot of good artists hangout there.
I bet there are some other chennels out there, but I never bothered to look.

Just a suggestion...
Instead of trying to start an IRC-channel, everybody here can install gooey on their machine. Then, everybody on this forum can shat live while they are browsing this page. . . could work ?!?

I can set up a bot, if there is enough demand. I don't want to go through all the hassle of setting up an eggdrop only to be sitting in the channel all alone
If you feel you would be a frequent visitor, than email me at: [email protected] and I'll see how many people show interest. If there is a fair ammount, then I will start the channel (it will be on efnet).

This has been brought up several times on this board. I don't think it's ever really worked out. If you have a bot, you probably stand a better chance of making it work than I did. :P

well actually i already run a channel in irc called #web.uk it is a european channel but its open to everyone, i started it for my company which does wen design, but its grown into an artist hang out too.
