Found myself a little inspired by Mr. Mullins' sketch of his house from last week(ish) and thought that I'd try something along the same lines. So, here's a quick sketch of my parents house;

Spent about an hour on it (not counting the 40 minutes I spent on the first version when the computer decided to freeze up..).

I like it very much .. I especially like the sketchy style to do the trees ..
hmmm maybe i would have made the grass a bit more green - yellow .. it looks as if has a strong touch of blue .. but maybe that�s just my monitor .. =) ...

looks good, the style differences are quite interesting too.

you didn't really go sit in the street with your comp for a few hours though did you?

Nope, I used a photograph as a basis for the sketch. Maybe not as cool as doing a plein air painting, but there's a lot less mucking around involved .
