hey, I posted a topic about hair detail a couple days ago. here is another draft of my picture I'm working on. I'm having trouble with enviroment, background and... depth I guess. But it's comming along I suppose.... Thank you for the url on the hair tutorial. I'm not quite done with the hair, it takes so long for me to get it right
All helpfull hints and suggestions are welcome, but please remember... it's not done yet...

Jess, your work is as abstract as ever. That's something that has always drawn me to your art. Keep it coming, one of these days I may have to commission you for a painted piece.

ahh lighten up, in thirty years overly semiotic art critics might be saying the same thing; "the prominence of the signature suggests not a mere signature but that this is a projected self protrait of aging; the wide eye indicating the sudden shock when one realises...."blah blah
Anyway, depth. Well, stronger lighting and a touch of secondary lighting usually works on me; as well as perspective cues, but it might not be that kind of pic. |
