Hey guys,

I found a few more pieces I've done relatively recently on my upstairs computer.

http://www.cperry.com/granny.jpg

http://www.cperry.com/skater.jpg

http://www.cperry.com/snowboarder.jpg

The Skater and the Snowboarder were draw a while ago for iCE, cuz I was just screwin around with Painter and shit. That Granny pic was for a Game Review "group" called TRG (they guys that run game-over.net), anyway, once again please let me know what you think.

THanks guys

Not too Shabby. I love the granny.
However, it doesn't really look like work that would be suitable for a position at ID. You know that all you're gonna get is crap until you post some of the stuff you did over there, or something at that level, anyway. =)

Ummm.

Actually, people have been giving me great comments on my work. I have gotten nothing but positive feedback, with the exception of you of course.

AND, the concept sketches that I do still own are *COPYRIGHTED*, I am STRICTLY prohibited from using them in public exhibits. If you can't find it in your tiny little brain to say something nice, then don't say anything -- otherwise, I'm sure I could find some nasty things to say about you. In fact, I'm certain I could. So lay off, buddy.

Uh... What's the matter, man? You can't take a little critique without turning into an asshole? I didn't call you a ripoff or anything, and work that is copyrighted can still be published by the author as a showcase (i.e. Dhabih's Mag Covers). Unless you live in some other country or something...

You seemed like a nice guy there for a while, and I can see why you don't work for Id anymore. (that's if you ever did.)

You manage to throw crap at everybody's art on this forum, and come up with some pretty advanced critique, but you got nothing to back yourself up with. Nothing.

So, "buddy", I suggest you pull your head out of your ass,(if still possible) and come up with some real art, because those sketches look like random doodle to me.
So I don't know if my standards are too high, or you don't have a sense of what's good art, or John Carmak was just plain stupid, but so far you got nothing.

Good luck!
(Flames will follow below)

First Off Shrimpy Penis,

LOOK AT YOUR ARTWORK. Take a good hard look at it. I tried to be nice and support you, but if you are going to be such a prick (which seems to be your nature), then here's what I, and a million other people think of you and your "work":

YOU ARE A COMPLETE RIP-OFF. You even sign your name like Dhabih. hahaha, how fucking retarded is that? All your pics, except for your Carmack pic is a rip of Dhabih's work in some way or another. Your "Fathom" pic in particular is just pathetic.

I suggest you pull your little penis out of your dad's ass long enough to learn to draw. When that happens, come back and see me. Btw, your "sketches" obviously suck, too. That "Resident Evil" pic is sooooo fucked up in every way, I can't even begin to list all the shit wrong with it. Get a life you annoying little homo.

And that granny pic - yes, it's a REMAKE of a Greg Capullo pic (Spawn 38 I think), but take a look at the actual pic you fucking freak, do you see any similarities besides the general pose? No. So before YOU open your oversized hole again, do some research.

Hehe... No wonder the granny pic was the only one that looked decent. It was the one that you DIDN'T come up with.

Look, man, my art is respected by loads of ppl on the Internet, especially the Quake community, so I'm not gonna pay any attention to your crap. I could care less what you or anybody else for that matter, think about my art. First of all, I draw cuz I like to draw, not because I need the fake praise that ppl on this board throw around. That's why I never post my crap on here. And the "my art looks like Dhabih's" issue has been brought up numerous times, and if you think I'm ripping him off, I hope you get the best of it. Have lots of fun!

And like I said before, IF (note the caps) you were a concept artist at ID, let me see some of your quality work, before you throw shit at my art. I'm sure you didn't doodle snowboarders for Carmack and Romero.

And for once, stop talking shit, and realize what the hell I'm talking about. Throwing shit at me and my art doesn't prove you're a quality artist. I'm just sick of you going around, splattering the fact that you worked at Id all over the place, criticizing ppl's art like you know what the hell you're talking about, and you got NOTHING behind you. Am I not making sense? WTF!
O, yea, and I really bought the roommate excuse for posting somebody else's art as yours. I bet you weren't expecting somebody to find out. Now that's what you call a ripoff! You didn't even bother to change it at all. What a nerve! Definitely ID-Quality stuff. And you'd think that after you'd worked at ID, you'd be able to get a good enough job to afford your own apartment. Things don't fall into place, Goosey!

Later, man!

Acutally, Greg Capullo inherited Todd McFarlane's style specifically for doing spawn work (he usually draws much different), so if you are going to say he's ripping off cappulo's spawn style...I would say that he would be ripping off Todd instead, not that I think he's ripping off anyone at all (I stopped collecting spawn a few issues after Todd left) so I have no clue if this is a rip or not, I would say not, because generally people know better than to do that, especially Mongoose here, because I think he's a good artist.

Mongoose:

Yep Well, USED to be Sc00p/ACiD, but I quit a few months ago. The whole group thing stopped appealing to me, many reasons why I suppose.
