If you look to where this thing was brought to the boil, it was with Marius�s comment on your granny pic:

However, it doesn't really look like work that would be suitable for a position at ID. You know that all you're gonna get is crap until you post some of the stuff you did over there, or something at that level, anyway. =)�

I think it�s fairly obvious that he wasn�t being totally serious(note the smiley?), and he was just expressing a desire to see some higher quality work. I don�t think he was being malicious. Hey, no knock against you Mongoose, but I think Marius�s request is totally valid. Your sketches are cool, but I don�t think it�s a stretch to say they are not id or sheridan quality stuff. Now, I know you mentioned that id�s stuff is copyrighted, but even so, I would imagine you would have a ton of stuff to show off from your Sheridan days. I live in Canada, and I recognise that this school is fuckin hard to get into(and more so as you said you had a scholarship) so surely you must have some cool shit to show for it?
Hey, whether you want to show it or not is your prerogative. And I empathize as I used to have a problem with Marius�s work. But honestly, it was my head that was stuck in my ass, and not the other way around. We had a little fight on the board, but it was pretty civil, and it concluded pretty quickly. Sure Marius�s work is similar to dhab�s, but that�s no crime, and it�s pretty common for artists to (consciously or unconscioulsy) produce work that is comparable to their idols. I think you only need to look at Marius�s recent work to see that he�s really coming into his own, and beginning to produce work that is almost at a similar level to Dhabih�s quality wise, but in a style totally his own. Sure theres a definate influence, but gimme a break, who doesn�t get influenced by dhab? He�s gotten a bad rap from some, but he doesnt seem like such a bad guy to me.
So chill out Mongoose, and stop trying to defend your ridiculous notion of honour.

I kinda have to agree with you, Judas. I read the threads, and I end up laughing, and laughing is good medicine, and seeing medicine usually helps you to live longer, I don't mind shooting up on laughter everytime I come here. @;-)
