I just remembered to ask everyone this because my friends and I were talking about it at school. Well, are you left handed or right handed?
I also heard that a large majority of leftys take an interest in art. True for me, I'm a left hander, how about you?

I'm right handed, but I don't hold the pen as most of you probably do. You (maybe?)hold your pens with 3 fingers, I hold mine with 4.
Stupid huh? Check out my stuff at http://go.to/penk - sketches. I'm going to add a "temp" sketch there. Please give me feedback on it.

Just wanted to say that lefthanded people has a tendency to be part of accidents. More than right-handed anyways. Based on a study made in North America somewhere.

I'm myself a right handed dude but I can write and draw with both hands. I'm not kiddin'. Ambidextrous ya know.

I don't think this is so off-topic. It's long been recognized that there is a correllation between left-handedness and creative tendencies. The whole pop-psychology left-brain/right-brain thing, you know.

I have heard that while only about 10% of all people are left-handed, about a quarter of artists are left-handed.

I'm mostly left-handed. I write and draw left-handed, and generally feel much more facile with my left hand, but I do play guitar right-handed...

Hey! I thought I'd be right. I posted that topic because I thought that there'd be quite a few leftys here.

Anyway, I throw with my right, kick with my left and write/draw with my left.

Anyway, cyaz

I'm right handed :/ I feel like I don't fit in

It's strange how many lefties are great artists, I wonder what the relation is? Anyhow, other noteable left-handers are:

Todd McFarlane
Joe Medeuria (sp?)
Jim Lee
Van Gogh
Michaelangelo

.. the list goes on, oh, and my good friend Jeff is also a lefty, and he is quite good

Aight, I've blabbered enough.

It's true that lefties tend to be more artistic. The art dept. I work in has a majority of left handers. I myself am right handed but wipe with my left.

Actually eclipse this is because the right part of the brain controls the left side of the body and vice versa. The right half of the brain is the emotional, aestethic one and the left one is more of a analytical nature, the 'working' one.

Because of this my art teacher taught a really cool lesson; draw with both hands on one picture. You'll combine [maximum power, YEAH!] both worlds and generally get better results. You also avoid common mistakes this way.
Also, turning the picture up-side-down will get your eyes focused on the "wrong" part of the picture so you can correct them. Good tips eh?

Cheers then!
